Taskles · Privacy

Privacy policy.

How the current version of Taskles stores your data, and what you choose to share.

Data on your device.

Taskles works without an account and does not send your tasks to a publisher server. The app has no ads, advertising tracking or third-party analytics.

It locally stores titles, descriptions, categories, priorities, planned days, creation and completion dates, and daily repetition with its completed days. This data is used to organize your tasks and prepare your days. Language, appearance and reminder preferences are saved locally, too. What you enter may be personal or sensitive.

A local copy for the widget.

The widget reads a local copy shared with Taskles: titles, identifiers, dates, priorities, completion states and repetition information. This copy contains no descriptions or category names. It is updated after changes; iOS may delay displaying them.

Titles may be visible to anyone looking at your screen. Removing the widget hides it without deleting tasks or the local copy.

An optional reminder.

Notification permission is requested after you choose to enable the reminder. It is local and its text contains no task titles. You can disable it in settings; the app remains usable without this permission. No access to your contacts, calendar, photos, microphone, location or health data is requested.

Shortcuts and Apple services.

The Taskles shortcut only opens the add form: Siri does not ask for a task title and nothing is saved until you confirm. Siri and Apple services process data according to your settings and Apple’s policies. System diagnostics or TestFlight feedback you choose to share are separate from your locally stored tasks.

Local storage and backups.

The task database stays in Taskles’ private storage. Only the widget copy is shared with its extension. Taskles does not enable iCloud task sync.

Depending on your settings, iPhone backups, including iCloud or computer backups, may include app data and restore older data. You and the system manage these backups.

Keep or delete.

Tasks, including completed ones, remain stored until you delete them. Deleting a daily task also deletes its completions; stopping repetition keeps its history. Deleting a category keeps its tasks. You can view, edit or delete your tasks in the app; the publisher cannot retrieve them remotely.

Deleting the app through iOS removes its local data; offloading it keeps data. Earlier backups and displays cached by iOS follow their own retention lifecycle.

Support messages

If you write to support@taskles.com, you voluntarily send your email address, message and anything you choose to attach in order to receive a reply. Task contents are not attached automatically. Hide sensitive information before sending. These messages use iCloud Mail and are separate from data stored in the app.

On the website

This website’s code includes no analytics, advertising pixels, forms, third-party scripts or cookies. It loads no fonts or assets from third-party services. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Technical connection data processed by the host to deliver and secure the website is separate from tasks stored on your iPhone; visiting the website does not send those tasks to Cloudflare.

Contact and deletion

For a data question or a request to delete information you sent to support, email support@taskles.com. Tasks stored exclusively on your iPhone can be viewed, edited and deleted in the app: the publisher has no remotely accessible copy. You can disable the reminder in Taskles or revoke notification permission in iOS settings.
